'Data session' PAYG

Anonymous
Not applicable
hi.
I've just moved from 3 payg to o2 classic payg and I'm curious about the data charges and anyone's experience. It says 1p minimum per data session. My phone constantly has apps draining small amounts of back ground data as do most phones. Everytime anything takes a couple of kb am I going to get a 1p charge. If not and it refers to the actual conNecton of 3g/4g does it mean I will get charged Everytime my connection drops due to coverage? Just not entirely sure how this will work and how they define 'data session'.It may be that 3 was the same and I'm worried about nothing...just a little confused. Anyone experience would be appreciated.

Credit never expires but chargeable activity is required at least once every 6 months to keep the SIM active.

Looks like I was charged 4p for data (6p for 3 sms text witch I know)

8 hours between 16:10 - 23:45 (it sent 3 text messages to me) gps sends 184bytes every 30 seconds witch should be less then 200KB (176KB)

final ballance is £9.90

Is there a way to get a brake down on the website or do I have to call them to work out what used what

I am suspecting that when they say session they really do mean session so if I lose GPRS data connection and it reconnects I'll get charged a penny irrespective of how much data I've used in 24 hours

But it was at £9.70 until I turned off the tracker which I assume is 02 reserving 20p for every 20mb until the session is disconnected to calculate the used data charge or you use 20mb
