I'm unable to send a SMS text currently and I receive a message saying it can't be sent because of a code 69 error.

What does this mean?

Error 69 is "requested facility not implemented". This cause indicates that the network is unable to provide the requested short message service.

It could be due to  network issue in your area O2 Service Status or a chargeable service not covered by your allowances.

Topping up may fix the issue if you are texting a foreign or premium rate number.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
