Claiming O2 topup rewards as credit?

Anonymous
Not applicable

This appears to have changed since I was on O2 but trying to sort it out for my Mum.

Used to be just a case of texting claim to a shortcode, but appears not to be that simple anymore.

Can anyone advise please?

How do I claim my o2 Rewards?
Opting in is easy – all you need to do is text REWARDS to 50202, or call 313 free from your Pay & Go phone. Your Rewards will accumulate over three months, when you'll need to either claim or save them. To use your Rewards to claim extra credit, text CLAIM to 50202.24 Sep 2012
