@KGB551 As it says in the link:

  • Press Hotkey 2 on your mobile phone
  • Key *#10# then press the call button
  • Dial 4444 for free from your mobile

Why would you not want to sign in?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Thanks for your response. @Bambino

However, under the link https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/checking-your-balance

it says

Checking your balance from a different phone

You can sign in to My O2 from any device to check your balance, even if you don’t have your sim with you. You’ll need to be registered with My O2 to do this.

Not registered with My O2? Here’s how to check your balance:

  • Pop your sim into a phone
  • Turn wifi off, so that you’re connected to our data network
  • Go to My O2, where you can check your balance without signing in. Don’t worry – you won’t be charged for using data on the My O2 website

This part highlighted in green says you can check balance without signing in which is a bit misleading.

Hi there @KGB551 , it's been a while since you posted but I just wanted to ask if you managed to check your balance via My O2 with the method you highlighted earlier?

Just to clarify in case you (or anyone else viewing this topic) had any lingering questions about it, it should enable you to access My O2 through your 3G/4G signal rather than using WiFi - as the network will be able to see the details and specifically the number you are accessing it from, it therefore does not require a login with a password. You can only do this on your mobile with your O2 SIM.
