Hi - I live in Malta and have a Maltese SIM card - which is selected - and an O2 SIM (my original UK number) which I keep in the phone for when I visit the UK.
Every time I send an SMS I get charged £0.02 by O2 - even though it is not using the O2 SIM. Even if I specifically switch off the O2 SIM I still get charged by O2.
Anyone know what's going on and how to stop it?
thanks

@Malta_Guy
As you have been roaming for over 63 days, you will be charged..
This will be an app on your phone sending the text, if its an iPhone it could be imessage, or whatsapp..

No idea @Malta_Guy but I'd be taking the O2 SIM out until I wanted to use it.

Don't know what phone you have but on mine you can set which network SIM is used for SMS independently of data and calls using the SIM card manager.You need to check that and also you SMS app defaults to your Malteese network

Thanks. But it's useful to have my uk number to receive uk calls if anyone needs to contact me. Hence why I have the dual sim
