Having issues with digital content purchases via Apple App Store.
No limit or restrictions place on number/account was told by o2 support.
After contacting o2 support new problem with linking and receiving text code for authorisation occurred.
This would result in failure of link the o2 number with App Store for 20-30 mins then connected as usual.
The issue was still unresolved once the number was linked as payment method.
For the short time my o2 number couldn’t link to Apple/iTunes when failing the verification process. A error message stated a billing issue contact carrier but still no luck, since o2 support does see any limits on the number.
Removed and add the number switched device off/on issue persists the amount isn’t take from the o2 balance.
No insufficient funds notification shown which would occur if Pay As you Go doesn’t have the funds/credit at time of transaction.
The o2 support first didn’t recognise this service and only confirmed everything is working as it should be without restrictions.
The issue is still present and preventing me from using my credit on the number.
Ive used this feature in past without issues, this was the first time I’m getting this problem.
Contacted Apple to ensure this issue occurred on o2 side not elsewhere.
The service doesn’t seem to working as usual it’s been a week but not resolved.
Any advice or solution would be appreciated.
TIA

Ensure you IOS device is updated to IOS 17.0.3 as there are lots of bug fixes across IOS 17, some of which have been resolved some are taking longer to fix...

Sounds like they are fed up of people crying wolf when there kids order things, and the parent has given them the pin number for the device...
I can see this coming to a lot of providers
