A few weeks ago I replaced my iPhone 6s with an iPhone 12 mini and transferred the sim. On the O2 website my device details shows the 6s and its IMEI. I would like to change the device details to the 12 mini and its IMEI.

It really doesn't matter. However if you are unable to change the phone number yourself via my O2 Settings > Phone> my number, save and reboot the phone.... then give O2 a call and they will reset your account. All numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Thank you for your reply. It’s the type of phone and the IMEI I’d like to change, not the phone number. The reason I’d like to change the IMEI is in case the phone is lost or stolen and I need to ask O2 to block the phone.

Then contact O2 as I said above. They will reset your account.

Best of luck.

It's unlikely that customer service will be able to change it.

Make a note of your IMEI which is on the phone box anyway, in case you need it.

You may find that your MyO2 will update itself eventually anyway.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@MI5 Thank you. I think you're right, that MyO2 might update itself eventually.

I wouldn't hold my breath.

MyO2 is still showing my phone as an HTC one I stopped using about 4 years ago.  No way to change the details.  I've tried deleting the 'my Device' and then re-adding my phone no. But it still comes up as the old HTC.
