A disabked friend has a pay as you go o2 sim and he had received a text to say he had yo go into a shop and change his sim.  Is this true ir is it a scam as I will have to do it for him

Could be true as O2 need to replace a lot of old sim cards.

Depends how long they have had it?

You will need written permission and photo ID if you go in store to do it.
