You are allowed one change of number free of charge but you need to contact O2.

You need to contact O2.
If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help. Or call them on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract)

As you are on PAYG, you can pick up a new SIM at somewhere like Tesco. The only complication that I can think of will be if you have a significant credit on your existing SIM that you want to move across. 👍

Credit can be moved to another PAYG sim by calling customer service.
