Change Tariff

I'm on international sim tariff. Wanted to change to pay monthly £20 big bundle, but I'm told the change will take effect after the expiration of the current intl tariff, which is over 3 weeks hence. How do I retire the current, so I can go on the new tariff immediately?

If you call customer service on 4445 the should be able to change it immediately.
