I bought an O2 PAYG phone for my Mum (95).
I have tried to top it up for the first time and am defeated.
I have succesfully registered the phone to my 'MyO2' account and it can receive incoming calls.
I know the problem isn't with my bank as I can see the 'approved' message coming back from them but the O2 site just fails to top up. I have tried 5 different cards across 3 banks with the same result every time.
Can anybody help!
Please.
John

Yes @Barcud
As per the details in the link, or one of your Mum's carers could do it directly in the phone.

I read the link, thanks for that.
It must be me because I didn't see anywhere there about using a voucher first time only.
Hmm, I winder where to get one in lockdown.
The problem is that the phone is with my Mum 90 miles away in a care home.
Can vouchers be used without actually having the physical phone with me?

It's in red at the top of the link.
Once you have a voucher number it can be entered in the phone by calling 4444.

Thanks for the speedy response.
Glad I don't have to deal with O2 direct to get answers.
Brilliant.
