I ordered a new sim which has a different tariff to my old sim. However I lost it when I was moving back home and I'm still being charged for the sim even though I have not used it at all.

Call customer service for a replacement.

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

If it's a contract sim you will have to pay the monthly tariff as per the terms and conditions whether you use it or not.

You also need to report the sim lost so as you aren't charged for any usage on there.
