probably best to do it through your bank if you are referring to direct debits

You shouldn’t cancel direct debits unless you are sure that there’s 0 chance they’ll put a default on the account

@Alan4 Customer service can help you set up a Direct Debit for your new pay monthly contract. It's something you should have anyway.

@Alan4 If moving from payg to pay monthly and keeping the same number it may auto cancel the auto topup as the number will no longer be payg just ask customer services before you do the move and any remaining credit should be applied to the pay monthly account
