How do I cancel a tariff too start a new plan before the renewal date?

@Sophie15 It sounds like you're looking to upgrade and not cancel. An upgrade will cancel the contract you're currently on and allow you to start a new one. If that's the case look on your MyO2 page to see what upgrades are available to you. http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
