Can you upgrade while on a sim only 12m contract

I am possibly being made redundant so trying to cut costs. My phone contract is now up and I’m thinking of taking the 12m option sim only contract. My question is, if in 3 months time I wish to upgrade to a new phone can this be done or do I first have to pay off 12m contract ? Thanks

Hi @NickyB 

After three months of on time payments on sim only, you will be eligible to upgrade to Refresh.

By upgrading you would effectively cancel your sim only plan.
