Can’t top up new SIM card

Just got an o2 sim for my dad to contact us in an emergency and although we can call him the system does not allow us to top up online. Registered, validated and even used a different credit card!!! Please tell me I don’t have to go into a shop to have to top up!!

Yes sorry, as it's a new one you will need to pick up a voucher from ANY shop or ATM

If you have a banking app you can normally top up through that.
