Can't make it receive calls

Purchased Samsung s8 unlocked. Bought O2 new SIM card. I am on network but cannot make calls.

Yes it let me top up, but when I checked balance, i had an mmi error.

Sorry but not sure what you mean by "no sound"?

Have been on myo2 seems all information, bundles tarriff, top up date appears. My wife tried to call my phone but it goes straight to o2 answering service. It says the person you called is unavailable to answer. About the no sound query, there is no ring tone.

Try rebooting the phone first but there's a possibility it's faulty if that doesn't work.

Tried a reboot, same result. Was dreading that, I had a fear that it was faulty. Will return it. Many thanks for your patience and help.
