Hi there ,

I am a frustrated mum of a teenager who is choosing to use lockdown as a holiday rather than do any work / find a job/ help around the house / sign up for college etc and just lays in bed alll day on their phone disengaged from real life.

The phone is the key issue - whenever they are without it they are fine.

i was hoping that there may be parental controls or as im the account holder paying for the stupid thing that i can temporaily get it cut off / blocked etc. jut so they can get themselves together wthout distraction.

Does anyone know if this is possible? My friend can do it on another network just hoped 02 would do this too.

@LC23

Call customer service and report the SIM CARD lost.

They will deactivate the sim and send you a new one which you can hand over at the appropriate time.

The best number to call on appears to be 0800 587 4005

Be aware - this will only stop it working if it is not connected to WiFi.
If on WiFi then most functions will still be ok.
There are ways to disconnect it from the WiFi, but you would need to log into the WiFi hub and stop the access on the phone...
