Call charges

I have a TTfone (Pluto) and I am completely new to owning and operating a mobile.On 25th ApriI made a £10 top up, bringing my balance to about £12.  On that day I made two UK telephone calls lasting just over 8 minutes, and was surprised to find that my balance had been reduced to 65p.  I checked Call Centre on my phone and could find nothing but the two calls I had made..  Can anyone suggest how I can investigate this high charge?

Sorry to appear dim @Anonymous but I can't see where @tony32 said he made international calls. In fact he said he made two UK calls?
