Been getting 2 pounds per day removed from my account fir data warnings I use my home wifi

Is that exactly two pounds and is it every day ? And did you change anything that led to this beginning to happen ?
Have you got mobile data turned on ? One possibility is that your WiFi is dropping out and mobile data is taking over. Similarly when you leave the house with apps working in the background. But that would not be a round two pounds.

As soon as any data is used, £2 is taken from your balance as that is the max charge you will receive for daily data use.
If you don't use enough data to reach the £2 limit, any unused money will be returned around midnight when the system updates.
Turn off mobile data in your phone settings to prevent any accidental use.
