Hi can someone please help.

I know that O2 have discontinued the big talker and classic pay as you go tariff.

On eBay and Amazon they sell the big talker and international sims.

Does anyone know if the new sims would have an option for the big talker tariff?.

The description said 3000 O2 tests and 50mb data when you top up with £10.

3000 O2 tests, 3000 O2 minutes and 100mb data with £15 top up.

Plus you keep your credit.

Also why are the cost of calls made in the UK to a UK number so expensive on the international sim?.

Compared with the classic tariff.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Mark

@Waffle

All sim cards have an activate before date, so as long as this hasn't past, you can activate and get the advertised tariff.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I know that sim cards have an expiry date.

Sorry I don't understand how they can advertise and sell a tariff that has been discontinued and is no longer available for new customers.

I had a O2 sim and texted the word big talk to 21300 but didn't work.

It's most unlikely now, I agree, but if the sim is still within it's activation time, it will connect on the advertised tariff.

Check with the seller what the activate before date is first before buying one.
