Solved: Big bundle and Top ups

Hello, I've just received my Pay as you go SIM. I'm on the £15 big bundle. Do I need to top up with any credit? I was trying to get the £10 free credit but to get this I need to send a text to a number which I can't do without a credit. So I need to top up by £10 to get free £10. I guess this will leave me with £20 credit but my question is - what do I need the credit for? Is it in case I go over my data or international minutes allowance? What else would I use the credit for? And does it expire?

You need to top up to activate the sim.

In your case it will be £15.

The free credit can be used for out of allowance charges or towards you next top up.
