Hi @captainprice

O2 PAYG phones are not unlocked until 12 full months of service has passed and a service fee of £15 is charged to unlock the phone. The only exception is the iPhone which, unless it's the latest model, is unlocked immediately.

@captainpriceNo they aren't unlocked.

O2 PAYG customers must wait at least 12 months after purchase before they can unlock their handset. A charge of £15 applies

CPW mobiles are sold unlocked

You should be able to, as both Tesco and Giffgaff use the O2 network. Easy enough to get a free one and try. I know you can't use an O2 sim in a Tesco handset. It's to do with how they are locked or so I believe

Tesco or giffgaff sim will work fine in an o2 phone.
