I saw a thread saying that if you download the my o2 app then you can get £5 free credit applied to your account. I didn't receive that free credit and wanted to claim it. How do I go about it?

Out may well be a virtual credit which doesn't actually appear on your account. The £5 is used first before your actual credit. Customer service should be able to confirm if it's physical or virtual.
