Yet another O2 Blunder, and on Christmas Day:
See following offer details on the O2 website:
£10 Big Bundle and £15 Big Bundle ends 30th December 2020
Get 3x data for up to 3 months on our selected Big Bundles, then reverts to standard data allowance. Offer will be applied automatically for first-time customers. Existing customers with an eligible Big Bundle must text “3XDATA” to 2424 from their O2
Pay As You Go phone to activate the offer. Your credit balance must be at least the Big Bundle tariff value on your monthly renewal date for 3 consecutive months to renew bundle and benefit from the offer for 3 months. If you switch to a non-eligible Bundle during the 3 months, you will no longer be part of the promotion and will not get the promotional data allowances once your current Bundle has expired.
THE END DATE IS 30th DECEMBER.
On sending a text to 2424 with 3XDATA I got the automated reply:
O2: Sorry, enteries for that offer are now closed. keep a look out for future O2 Pay and go promotions.
I already have this offer on my phone and the 3rd month has started today but I'm not getting the bonus DATA on that offer either.
How many other people are geting this error?

Just recieved a text from the auto reply: We've added your bonus data - Horray!
I'm a bit worried that the auto reply can't make it's mind up though,
Maybe computers really are taking over the world.

You'll need to call O2. They are open until 2pm today.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 4445, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

Hi, yes thanks for your reply and suggestion, I really can't be bothered to phone CS on Christmas Day but I will (Have to) after the weekend.
How they can have a long running offer that ends prematurely over the Christmas holiday, when many people will be trying to take up the offer is unbelievable really,
Especially when they are still advertising the offer on their online shop.
I have one month still to get the bonus data - Starting from today.
My partner bought a 15 quid bundle for her new Christmas phone on the assumption that she would get the bonus data with this offer.
For a company whose whole business is IT it's simply not good enough, the exact same thing happened a while back when they had a 5X Data offer.
