Hi I've just gone onto the £10 bundles. Today I sent some texts and it took money from my credit. I thought I would get free texts now I'm on the bundle.

Thanks

Paula

See what texts are included here Guide: Your Allowances - what is and isn't included

If wrong, call 4445 or If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

If the texts were to a UK number (and not a short code or non-UK mobile number), and your bundle is active, then you are correct. The bundles help page below may give you an indication of what went wrong, @Paula54, but the O2 Social Media Team on the links below this post will be able to help.

Good luck!

That would do it - they'll have been converted to MMS, at an exorbitant 55p or so per message:

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/text-and-picture-messaging?osr=picturemessages

There is a way to alter your phone's settings so messages don't get sent as MMS because you inadvertently put an emoji or a picture or a URL in it, or tried to send it to a large group: Guide: Accidental MMS Sending and How to Avoid it

Also if you wish to share pictures with friends, get together and install, for example, WhatsApp on each phone - calls, messages and pictures sent using WhatsApp don't cost per message, although they do use your data to send, unless you are on home or free WiFi (in a coffee-shop, for example).

Good luck, @Paula54.

Thanks, I do use WhatsApp but I wasn't sure if my cousin does and I was replying to his texts.
