My Lumia 535 went wrong so I bought another and put the sim from my old one into the replacement.  Sadly I lost all but three of my contacts but that's another problem.

The problem I need a solution for is this.

When I tried to open my O2 account I had to login first and the put my PIN in.  I did this and got into the account but the next time I entered the PIN it I was told 'something's wrong, Please try again later'.

I tried again later but got the same message.  I had to login again and was able to put in a PIN and O2 opened but each time I try to open the account now I have to login, put in a PIN and the PIN works once.

I'm guessing I need to uninstall the O2 account and install a new one but I have no idea how to do this.  Can anyone help please?

Mick

Try just deleting the app first.
Scroll left to all apps then scroll down to MyO2 and long press on it.
Select uninstall from the pop up menu.
Then go back to the App Store and reinstall the app.
If that still plays up, give customer services a call to reset the account.

Above delete instructions for a Windows Phone.
Let us know if you have a different phone and are unsure how to delete?

In the list of apps just press and hold on the MyO2 app.
A small popup box will appear with option to delete, pin to start etc.
