Yes it should do.
Text the word "Active" to 2020 for settings.

You say that as if the 3310 (2017) is fully supported by O2 which it isn't. The ONLY report of someone on O2 getting MMS picture messages being RECEIVED correctly is from this guy: https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Help-Support/nokia-3310/td-p/21018190 .... and even this basic Access Point Settings advice doesn't work for me. Hopefully they'll be extra settings on the new Sim Card O2 have sent me but I doubt it.

@Cleoriff That's for the old Nokia 3310 (2002), I specifically stated the issue was with a 3310 (2017) and they are not as reliable (or supported) as the old Nokias! I've tried activating the MMS settings automatically and contacting O2 and Nokia/HMD Global for the manual settings but they assume it's the same as the Nokia 230 and HMD Global wash their hands of the problem blaming the network provider! The support has been very poor to be honest. I'm sure Vodafone and Virgin have a handle on this since they provide these handsets with their contracts. O2 not so much 😞

@Anonymous  Apologies. I posted what I found on google in the hope it would help. If it didn't,  then my technophobia would stop me seeking anything else. I hope you get it sorted Smiley Frustrated

What fields are required to be completed in the MMS settings?

@MI5 All settings are complete and it half works! This video best explains the problem with small WBMP black & white thumbnail sized pictures instead of full sized photos! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OycEySTRloQ As I say, this guy has mastered it but it's unclear how as my settings seem to be the same as his (unless the other core O2 settings are wrong but I have the following: "Proxy address must be:-82.132.254.1 & the Proxy port must be:- 8080 all other fields must left with the original O2 settings." https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Help-Support/nokia-3310/td-p/21018190

Would appear correct then.
Have you tried in different locations in case these is an issue with 2g on your mast?
Or maybe they just don’t work over o2 2g anymore?
