My Nokia 2330c-2 Has A Startup Problem...

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello There Everybody..!

My Nokia 2330c-2 Has A Startup Problem... Which is. When I Turn it On,

Step 1) It Tries to Startup (showing the usual white screen) For 3 Seconds,

Step 2) Then It Stops by Turning It's Self Back Off (showing the usual blank/black screen) for 3 seconds... Then It goes Back To Step 1 Again!

All-in-All It Does Steps 1 & 2, Three Times, in Total..!

Does ANYBODY Have ANY IDEAS or THOUGHTS About Why This Might Be..?

Thanks In Advance.

                                         Mikey x.

Firmware here http://www.cpkb.org/wiki/Nokia_2330_2332_classic_RM-512_firmware_data_package_download Check you get correct country for language / operator etc.

Navifirm available here http://www.cpkb.org/wiki/Navifirm

Suggest you have a look at YouTube for flash guides/process before starting off yourself. Make sure you are comfortable with the process before starting, and the usual disclaimers apply wink

Sounds like the boatloader is damaged. (like DOS on a PC). You could try reflashing / updating the firmware or if not confident with the process take it in to a repair shop or O2 if under warranty.
