I have absolutely no clue on how to release my BlackBerry's PIN so I can use BIS on another device. Is there a way that I could do this?

Model: Bold 9790

O2 Pay As You Go (Classic)

(Yes I do have the BIS Bolt-On)

Currently using a BlackBerry Bold 9780.

Just a person trying to get through life without having issues with their phone. This, obviously, won't happen.

Not aware that you could transfer your PIN though as I just assumed a new PIN was assigned to each device?

Yes that's what was said on the thread. I never had a BB so no idea...

@Shadowbolt If I’m understanding you correctly and you are moving from a 9790 (BBOS) to a Classic (BB10) then you don’t need the BIS add on anymore but you will need a standard data package. You just need to log in with your Blackberry ID to use BBM etc.

I Haven’t used my Z10 or Classic in a while except to update BB10 but AFAIR the PIN is fixed by the Blackberry device, but if using BBM on iOS or Android I believe you can create a ‘custom PIN’ which can be edited in the current version. It would of course have to be unique.
