Hi,

Where I work there is no mobile phone signal and I rely on wifi calling over the corporate wifi.

I had an android phone and had no issue with wifi calling but I recently switched to an iphone SE (2022 3rd gen) and it will not work with wi-fi calling on the work wifi network.

Wifi calling works with no issues on my home broadband network so theer are no issues with the account or phone setup.

The IT support have had a look and can find no problems, the ports for O2 wifi calling are all enabled in the network and other users on O2 are working ( including my previous android phone ) and they have run out of suggestions.

Is there any know differences in iphone vs android on O2 that could be causing this ?

I am very intrigued by this as we are experiencing the exact same issue with Corporate O2 contracted iPhones, predominantly SE models, and users' personal iPhones (varying models) via our Public/Guest WiFi SSIDs.

This has been ongoing for some time on a variety of Cisco WAP models and via two generations of WLC.

We have at least one site with very poor mobile reception, A not-spot so to speak so people rely on VoWiFi but it is really inconsistent, some inbound calls from other mobiles appear to be ringing, but the receiver (iPhone user) does not get an inbound call, just a notification to say they have a missed call. Sometimes it will connect, but the call will fail after anything from a few seconds to around 90 seconds. Its so flaky and difficult to pinpoint the issue.

I have come across countless forum posts and the likes whilst browsing for a solution, related to iPhone VoWiFi issues on various network types, from corporate to public SSID's and even home broadband connected / private WLANs. . . But never got close to a resolution.

Its worth noting. . . We have no issues with WiFi calling on any android phones, this is limited to iPhones.

A warm welcome @Schmitt to this O2 customer to customer community.

I know little about iPhones but @madasaf1sh might be able to help. 👍
