which is best block the sender or bklock the domain i am an oap and very confused please help john

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum. If it's a number you dont want to ring you it's far easier to block the number.

For unwanted mail you could block the sender ...and you could scroll down the email and see if you can unsubscribe from receiving them

Depends if you want to block one persons email or anyone on the same email domain.
I.e. If you block @ gmail  you won't get any emails from gmail addresses, in simple terms.

depends if you are getting email you DO want from someone else with a similar email.
For example - you are getting unwanted email from abc123 @ gmail . com. You get email you do want from ZYX987 @ gmail .com
In this case, you would block the sender.
If you get no email from someone with the same @Anonymous.com then you could block the domain but you may miss out later.

Hopefully it's just the one sender which can easily be blocked, start blocking domains and you could have issues receiving mail that you want. I find it easier to just mark as spam or un subscribe.
