Solved: travelling to Egypt with my o2 pay monthly

Hi There,

In August I will be on a holiday in Egypt, and I would like to stay connected to my friends and family and work here in the UK so, I was wondering if there was a way to do so at a reasonable price. don't want to be paying international call rates at 2 or 3 pounds a minute.

Using VOIP apps over wifi or get a local sim for data use, otherwise it will be expensive, as you say.
