Solved: sim swap_ retain existing mobile number

can anyone clarify procedure...on the online page for retaining existing number when joining o2. it requires input of mobile number.....is this the new number which come with new sim card or existing number on old sim.

it has been a long time since i changed users instructions vague??

It's any number that you can be contacted on.

Further on you are asked for the number you want to keep and existing sim number.
