The first time I connect it asks me what is my "monthly O2 network data allowance" and I can choose from 3,9,10GB and Other. There is obviously no "unlimited" option.
When I enquired about the "unlimitedness" of the tariff, the guy in the shop was rather hazy in his explanation and mentioned a fair usage policy that's supposed to apply. Fair enough - I can't object to a fair usage policy. Fine. I thought as soon as I get home I will look up the details of that policy on-line.
However I can't seem to find anything. I still don't know what is my usage limit, I haven't seen the policy, I just don't know how much it is okay to use this internet I got.
Can anyone, please, direct me to this policy and explain how does this plan work?

* A fair usage policy applies to the Unlimited tariff and the average monthly usage is expected to be below 5GB. The inclusive allowance is for use in the UK. If you go abroad, don't forget that it's expensive to use your Mobile Broadband. It costs £2.55/MB ex vat for use within the EU and £6/MB (non vatable) for the rest of the world. So to avoid any surprises when you get your bill, it's best to take one of our Data Abroad Bolt ons.

It can't be both can it, so it's clearly a 5Gb limit, hence not unlimited?

Agreed but why can't they simply say you have a 5Gb limit?
There's a large focus on this type of advertising and I expect its days are numbered with everyone.
