Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forum. Has this just happened today?

I wonder if the notification emails went into Spam? Many people just delete out of Spam.

Then again where o2 had mobile numbers they were also texting users. I suspect the OP didn't think it applied to them as it would have been around the time of the sale to Sky.

This is unbelivable I now have no acces to my email folders and I have not received any prior notice that O2 were going to close my account down. What happens now?

Do O2 expect to keep our business when our contracts are up?

This is a disgrace.

Hi @Anonymous and @Anonymous

Welcome to the Community.

O2 publicised this in September and again November 2013 that o2 email was closing. Most accounts have closed but it looks like there might have been some on a server that was still working. From the number of comments today it looks like that one has too been turned off hence no more access.

@Anonymous

Missing posts? There are several threads running on this so admin "may" be in the process of merging the threads possibly? Or it could be you might be confusing different threads.

You also mention about the issue being resolved. It was in 2013 when o2 announced o2 email was closing. The fact it has continued working for some did not remove the need for users to make alternative provision.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Nothing that's critical is deleted on the O2 Community (unless of course a post is moved for a guideline breach). If you're struggling to find a post, feel free to send message and we can see if we can find it.

@Toby some mention of email closure may be useful on the My O2 landing page?

It is currently just showing a link to acess email.....
