o2 travel bolt on doesn't work

Hi, i have activated o2 travel bolt on for europe 6 hrs ago and now im outside the uk and my phone doesn't work (i am now connected to aiport wifi). Pls can anyone help, at the moment I have no way to communicate, unless on a wifi

Yes, they should.

It isn't a requirement that you have O2 travel but you do need international use enabling on your account.

You may also have to reboot your phone a couple of times or do a manual network search to get the phone connected.

Hi @Anonymous It does say sometimes it takes 24 hrs to activate. You may find it is working after midnight UK time. If not then you need to contact customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus Number for calling from abroad in the link

Check in your MyO2 to see if it shows as an active bolt on http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Thanks Cleoriff, hope it'll start working soon. I thought the standard rates would apply untill the transition is completed. Ive received email confirming activation, will try to check o2 a bit later as just about to get cut off thax
