Yes, they should.
It isn't a requirement that you have O2 travel but you do need international use enabling on your account.
You may also have to reboot your phone a couple of times or do a manual network search to get the phone connected.

Hi @Anonymous It does say sometimes it takes 24 hrs to activate. You may find it is working after midnight UK time. If not then you need to contact customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus Number for calling from abroad in the link
