o2 pocket hotspot - wired connection to PC

Anonymous
Not applicable
My pocket hotspot works fine with all my wireless devices.

I've connected it via USN to my Windows XP PC and downloaded the installation software ok and have the shortcut on my desktop to activate 02 connection.

When I activate it on my PC then the web browser loads up but says it can't see the internet.

There is no problem with data as I can browse the net on my iphone using the wifi.

I can't find any troubleshooting guides for USB connection to PC and so wonder if anyone has any ideas?

Thanks

In the end I uninstalled the 0@ wifi software from my PC and reinstall it. That worked.
Thanks for all your suggestions.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have that. It is the user manual that came with it. I followed it to install the software from the MF60 onto my PC.

It doesn't have any troubleshooting to explain why it might not be working once loaded

No because they aren't stopping my 3 dongle from connecting to the internet! Just 3 has poor signal here.

Just a thought, but is the 3 dongle software active at the same time? (icon in the system tray).

If so right click and close it and retry the O2 software.
