Well, just by way of offering some constructive feedback, perhaps the WiFi Hotspot Locator could be updated to indicate which of the 11,000 locations are currently offering this service.

Or is it supposed to be a lottery?  wink

Edit@: is there something wrong with the @ mentions?

@Anonymous nothing wrong with them just a slightly different layout as from yesterday morning. You still have to scroll down from the suggested @mentions and click on the one you want....

I realise that, but for some reason Marina wasn't amongst those members who have contributed to this discussion (even though she clearly has posted in this thread).

Yes, I understood you correctly. I now also understand that the service itself isn't widely available just yet.

You need to get a message from O2 as well.

Haven't found one to test yet, anyone else had any luck?

Do let us know when/if you do guys, very eager to hear members' thoughts on this.

Apparently @Toby  we need to wait for a message from O2 that it's been activated on our devices first?

One thing that does surprise me from reading the T&Cs:

What if I do not want to use this service?

"Customers who do not wish to use O2 Wifi Extra should disable wifi on their device."

Normally you can just delete (or forget) a particular WiFi network, but this sounds like you have to switch WiFi off completely. I suppose it shouldn't be an issue if you have enough confidence in the enhanced security.

Just to reiterate my earlier concern about @mentions, I'm only seeing perksie, piperdog123, jonsie, Cleoriff, and Toby in this discussion (i.e five usernames in the drop-down list) despite there being another six or seven contributors to this thread. Anyone else experiencing a similar problem?
