Good evening everyone here on the forum

I wanted to know if it is possible to get a USA number to use in the UK

so my family in the USA can call us without getting charged?

If anyone can help then it would be great.

The best thing they can do is to Skype you. You can get a Skype number (you have to pay) which will be cheaper for them to call but no, it isn't possible to get a USA number.

Use WhatsApp. Both phones must have it. Calls, texts, video calls are free.

A vote for WhatsApp--and they provide a client that let's you use it from your PC too, for text and pictures. (I presume there is a Mac app too, not a Mac user, sorry!)

Why not get your family to send you a burner phone or SIM from the USA for you to keep here for them to contact you on?
