There is no network coverage in Bicester for calls. I've tried turning off and on again bit still no way to make a call. I'm paying for a service I can't use. I want compensation from O2. Any idea how I can contact them to do that?

There is a widespread network issue. You can ask CS for a goodwill gesture but it's not guaranteed I'm afraid.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hmmm. How legal is their position of they deny compensation? Their service has failed and I have paid for it. Surely I deserve my payment to be refunded under any fair assessment of the situation. Do you know if they have a defence against this view?

Not when you signed a contract accepting an unusual fault in the service.

Thanks. And is it legal to bind a retail customer to making payments but not receiving a service?

I realise I signed an agreement. However I believe there is protection for retail customers that overrides contractual terms to ensure inalienable rights aren't accidentally signed away.

As I'm not a qualified Lawyer I wouldn't know, so if you challenge it let us know how it goes.

I suspect you'll get a goodwill gesture either way though.
