Anonymous
Not applicable
My phone has been on emergency calls only for a month now due to a mast not working. I want to leave o2 now as they don't have the the kindness to update me at all. Good business.....NOT.

Hi @Anonymous Sorry to hear this. If you download my network app you can monitor network status and report issues from within the app http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

You can also put in a complaint here http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Be advised if you have a contract and wish to leave, you must pay off the contract in full (or handset if on Refresh)

If you go through the proper complaints process they might agree to let you leave without paying off your contract but if you are on refresh you can just pay off your phone and walk away anyway.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If they do agree to let you leave now with no penalty at all, you would have to return the handset. Bear in mind that you may already have paid a substantial amount for it but it still belongs to the hire purchase company until fully paid off. That would be your best solution as @MI5 says.
