how do i claim on imsurance

hi, 

One of my family didn't realise I had left my phone on the lawn whilst I went inside today. He began mowing the lawn having moved the chair I was sitting on. By the time I got back outside my phone is no more. I assume this will be accidental damage? 

I need a new sim and phone due to the extent of the damage. 

I pay insurance alongside my contract but have never had to claim before so I don't know where to start.

Use "Contact us" at the foot of the page to get the number for O2 and they will handle the claim.
