how can i stop O2 stealing my money to use the internet when they think i should ?

O2 are taking £1 a go for me to use the internet on a specific day when  i don't choose to use it, i phoned and asked about it and there is no way i can get this practice stopped, except by me going 30 miles to the nearest O2 shop and getting someone to alter my phone so it doesn't receive the internet which will stop me useing it when i want to. O2 's operative told me there is no way i can opt out of this deal, thanks for nothing, it is STEALING MY MONEY. WALKSSLOW

Go into your settings and turn off mobile data. If you don't know how to do it, either ask someone, or look in your user manual.

The toco lite is known as a feature phone, rather than a smartphone and as such does not have a data switch. However, it also does not poll for background data unless you have open widgets. So, close any open widgets (swipe then off to the left bar on the screen) and the only time it will attempt to connect to data is when you open a widget, email or internet.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
