how can i stop O2 stealing my money to use the internet when they think i should ?

O2 are taking £1 a go for me to use the internet on a specific day when  i don't choose to use it, i phoned and asked about it and there is no way i can get this practice stopped, except by me going 30 miles to the nearest O2 shop and getting someone to alter my phone so it doesn't receive the internet which will stop me useing it when i want to. O2 's operative told me there is no way i can opt out of this deal, thanks for nothing, it is STEALING MY MONEY. WALKSSLOW

It really isn't stealing anything. You obviously have a smartphone which rely's on data for certain services. This data switch can be easily turned on and off by the user so YOU can control on which days you spend the £1 or not.
Additionally you could change your tariff to one which includes data so that you won't get charged at all......

You just need to switch off mobile data. Tell us which phone you have and we can advise you how to do this. It's easy to do and O2 are not stealing your money, how are they to know that mobile data isn't enabled intentionally? After all, that's what smart phones are for.

no i cant because that £1 is only for useage  in this 24 hours, not when i might want to use it.

the O2 girl on her computor couldn't find out how to de select the internet option on my phone & told me i have to take it to an O2 shop ( a 30 mile round trip + parking) and why should i have to turn off  the internet on my phone so i cant use it when i want to just so they can take a £1  for use in this 24 hours when i don't want to use it, they have taken £3, so far ,when they have taken it all my phone will be useless

As already advised, change to a tariff with data included.

This is going to be very difficult if you don't start listening to what you are being told by people who know what they're doing and who are trying to help you.

I think you misunderstand.

There will be a setting on your phone to turn off mobile data. This will mean your phone will not be accessing the internet on days you do not wish due to background services running, but you can re-enable it for those days that you want to use the internet and pay your £1 for that days usage.

If you tell us which phone you have then one of us could perhaps advise you where to find the setting you need to turn off and save you the trip to the shop.
