early upgrade

Hi,

 

Ive got 2 numbers with o2, one phones been lost and ones broken and i have no insurance for either Smiley Embarassedso I was wondering if o2 did early upgrades without having to buy out your contract? As Ive got no phone cannot call to ask the question and the live chat is permantly busy so hoping someone on here might know.

@Anonymous I'm fairly certain you'd still have to pay whatever you owe on your contract. You'll need to speak to customer service, as we're all customers here. Try to find a land line to use, as your phones aren't working. Don't rely on Live Chat. http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

 

Edit: I hope you've also reported the lost phone, as you are responsible for charges to that phone until you do.

I'd buy a cheap payg phone to see out your contract with.
You can upgrade to a full new contract after 23 months for free or pay it all off to upgrade early.
