Hello everyone,
I recently joined O2 and a few days after signing up I got a very convincing email about a £50 gift card.
This just screams Scam to me but I was surprised I couldn’t find any info about this on Google so I thought I’d start a thread here to hopefully prevent people from getting scammed.
Can you officially confirm it’s a scam?Where is it best to notify O2 about this?
I’ll paste the email here:
Hi (my name),
Thanks for choosing O2.
Great news. You can now claim your £50 digital gift card by simply heading to www.o2redeem.co.uk and clicking on 'Make a claim'.
All you'll need is your unique ID and claim code, below.

Don't forget, you need to claim your digital gift card before 16/09/22.
Any questions, check out our FAQs or read the full T&Cs.

That's still potentially a scam website. I can't find anything on the O2 website or my O2 app which seems fishy
