Resolved! How long to activate replacement sim that I had stolen ? 12 hrs so far

How long does It take to activate my replacement sim o2 have sent out so far it's been 12 hrs and still not ready . I've got the signal dots and o2 sign showing but no 4g and lines dead it you ring it . The sim is in a brand new phone I've given them...
