Would o2 Let me swap my handset on medical grounds.

I was just wondering if o2 would let me swap my handset.

There is nothing wrong with my iPhone 7, it's Mint, headphones not used etc. I've had it since December, but I've recently been diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines with Severe vertigo. I constantly have my phone in 'night mode' and have Low Motion setting in place, but I'm still barely able to use it.

Google searches show that IOS7 is well known to set off Vertigo and migraines for users etc, and have been advised to move over to Samsung as their easier on the eyes etc,

Just wondering, I don't want to sell my handset, cause I technically don't own it yet, so I thought I'd ask here.

Thanks.

Dan.

iOS is now up to 10 so I don't know if that's still as bad as 7 ?
Anyway, if on refresh you will have to pay your device plan off fully which then allows you to sell your iPhone (costs will probably wash their faces) then you can upgrade to a new contract with a Samsung.
I guess you'll be going for the S8 ?

Just another thought, you can get an "anti blu ray" screen protector for the iP7 which might also help you ?

They wouldn't let you swap it outright as @MI5 says but you can sell the iPhone to help pay off the device plan

I meant ios 10, no idea where 7 came from. Ok I'll have to see about selling this phone and paying off my remaining balance.

If you call into your local o2 store they can check the recycling value of your iPhone and compare that to you settlement figure and sort out an upgrade for you.
